About JEA

JEA (Japan Entrepreneur Award) is one of the large size business model contest in Japan
supported by Japan’s top executive community.
It is aim to accelerate next generation entrepreneurships in Japan by encourage entrepreneurs in the startup stage.
The contest links entrepreneurs with a wide network of community of top executives
to benefit from their expert advice, and support.

Guidelines

Eligibility

  • Application as a team also accepted with the name of representative of the team.
  • Business plan has not commercialized, or less than three years of commercialization
  • Able to attend final pitch contest and award ceremony held in Tokyo on April 12, 2017
    (airfare, accommodation and transportation to the venue will be supported by organizer)

Required Contents

In order to complete the submission you will need to send us the following:

  • Describing the business idea including business growth strategy, or business idea based on solid assumption of the coming future with logic.
  • PR material of contestant
  • Selected contestants for the final pitch contest will be notified individually
    Two to Three contestants will be selected from each category for the final round (pitch contest)
    Selected contestants will be invited to compete a 5minutes pitch contest held in Tokyo.

Note

  • Language should be in Japanese or English
  • Organizer shall not be responsible for any trouble regarding submitted contents
  • Organizer will not be able to response individual inquiries on selection situation..

    One contestant will be selected from each category
    Successful winner for each category will be selected based on pitch contest performance.

    Award Ceremony

    One Grand prize winner will be selected from category winners
    Grand Prize winner will be selected from among catergory winners. and it selection will be based on contents, performance of the pitch contest, and vote of our community members
